The Quebec City Beerfest

Exquisite hop festival, the Quebec City Beerfest make you taste local and international flavors. Microbreweries, breweries, pubs, cider, local products & restaurant await you in the festive atmosphere of the Old Quebec!

From August 14 to 17, the 400th Space of the Old Port of Quebec will host the Quebec City Beerfest and its many activities. From 11AM to 11PM on Thursday to Saturday and 11AM to 8PM on Sunday, delights yourself in good company.

The admission is free for all. However, the possession of an official Quebec City Beerfest glass is required. It will be available for free at the site entrance. However, coins are essential to have access to consumption and are available onsite. Every glass requires between 2 and 6 coins for 125 ml.

To safely visit the Quebec City Beerfest, several bus routes are available to consumers. Starting from the 4 corners of the city, you have no reason to miss this incredible event!

For this 18th edition of the Nouvelle France Festival , a promising program was unveiled recently. From August 6th to 10th, 2014, get back in time with the festival medallion and have access to a wide range of activities for the whole family

For the first time this year, the Nouvelle France Festival Medallion is in presale. At 10$ per person in presale and 12$ per person after July 31st, these passes are inexpensive and offer a lot! In addition, the access to the site and activities are completely free for children of 12 and under!

Since 1991, the biggest mountain bikers meet in Quebec City every summer for the biggest mountain bike festival in eastern Canada! Combining acrobatics, speed racing, extreme demonstrations, family activities and much more, the Quebec City Velirium is undoubtedly one of the biggest competitions of summer sports in North America.

Welcoming once again the UCI world cup (downhill and cross-country), Quebec City Velirium promises a memorable moment!

From July 31st to August 3rd, 2014, at the Mont Sainte-Anne Mountain, will be host the World Cup mountain bike. The Quebec City Velirium is a speed of 69.9 km / hr by bike, 562 volunteers up today, 718 amateur participants, 77 exhibitors and more. For its 23rd edition, the World Cup mountain bike pushes the boundaries of each of its participants with a unique background and difficulties as never seen.

At the edge of one of the largest rivers in the world, Quebec City is a prime destination for cruise passengers. Native Americans called it "the walking way", its banks were carved by the glaciers. The St. Lawrence has its source in the Great Lakes. At Quebec City, it widens considerably and changes into the largest and deepest estuaries in the world. Arrived in the bay of Tadoussac, salt water and fresh water meet to create an ecosystem favorable to marine life, including the famous whales and other rare mammals. Downstream estuary expands into a gulf that bathes the Côte-Nord Region, Anticosti Island, Gaspésie Region and the Magdalen Islands.
